A partner at RATHEAUX since 2024, Antoine GENESTOUX leads the firm’s corporate law practice with the other partners in the department (Marc PRETAT and Olivier CATELAND).

His years of experience at different leading law firms have enabled him to develop specific expertise in assisting distressed companies.

Expertise

With dual training in business law and economics and management, Antoine GENESTOUX has developed expertise in the following areas:

  • corporate law and mergers and acquisitions: incorporation and monitoring of companies, legal structuring and corporate groups, organic growth, sales and acquisitions, LBOs, shareholder relations, advice to executives, restructuring, etc.
  • supporting companies in financial difficulty during settlement phases (ad hoc mandate, conciliation), collective proceedings or in the event of a takeover (distressed M&A).

Working closely with his clients and speaking English, Antoine represents them and defends their interests in their various legal projects, particularly in complex negotiations or crisis situations, with a pragmatic and committed approach focused on providing advice tailored to entrepreneurs and business leaders.
